Le Conseil d'Administration du CA Brive s'est réuni aujourd'hui sous la présidence de M. Thierry Blandinières. Le Conseil a pris plusieurs décisions concernant l’évolution de la gouvernance du Club afin de renforcer son ancrage au niveau local et régional.
M. Eduard Coetzee quitte son poste de Directeur Général. Il endosse la fonction de "Conseiller/Senior Advisor" auprès de la Présidence. Dans ce rôle, il a pour mission d’apporter de nouveaux partenaires au niveau international et de continuer à conseiller le club concernant les sujets sportifs.
M. Dominique Antoni, actuellement Directeur général adjoint, est nommé Directeur général délégué et dépend directement de Thierry Blandinières. Il a en charge toute la direction opérationnelle et administrative du CA Brive.
Pour renforcer l'ancrage briviste et corrézien M. José Lopez est aussi nommé Vice-Président, aux côtés de Xavier Devaud nommé le 19 février. José, comme Xavier, est reconnu localement comme un partenaire historique du club et un passionné du projet CAB. Les deux Vice-Présidents ont pour mission de développer les revenus et la visibilité du CAB dans la région et d’assurer le suivi du projet rugby des plus petits jusqu'au haut niveau.
M. Simon Gillham, actionnaire et dirigeant, continue dans ses fonctions de Vice-Président en charge des partenaires nationaux et internationaux et de la communication institutionnelle.
Commentant ces évolutions Thierry Blandinières a déclaré : « Je suis ravi de pouvoir encore plus ancrer le CA Brive dans sa ville, son département et sa région. Dominique Antoni connaît le Club par cœur, ayant commencé comme stagiaire il y a 20 ans. Il est notre garant de la bonne gestion financière du CAB. Il est épaulé par deux entrepreneurs qui ont connu une très belle réussite avec leurs sociétés, qui partagent une passion pour le Club et qui le connaissent depuis des années. Ils donneront de leur temps et de leur expertise sans compter. Simon, qui travaille aussi au Royaume-Uni, continue à développer notre visibilité avec les institutions nationales et internationales et assure la bonne relation avec nos actionnaires principaux. Ed aura passé deux années comme directeur général et a su apporter son professionnalisme à tous les niveaux. Je le remercie. »

CHANGES IN GOVERNANCE AT CA BRIVE
The Board of Directors of CA Brive met today under the chairmanship of Mr. Thierry Blandinières. The Board took several decisions regarding the evolution of the Club’s governance in order to strengthen its local and regional roots.
Mr. Eduard Coetzee is stepping down from his position as Chief Executive Officer. He will take on the role of Senior Advisor to the Chairman. In this capacity, his mission will be to attract new international partners, and to continue advising the Club on sporting matters.
Mr. Dominique Antoni, currently Deputy General Manager, is appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer and will report directly to Thierry Blandinières. He will oversee all operational and administrative management of CA Brive.
To further strengthen the Club’s ties to Brive and the Corrèze region, Mr. José Lopez has also been appointed Vice-President, alongside Xavier Devaud, who was appointed on February 19. José, like Xavier, is widely recognized locally as a long-standing partner of the Club and a passionate supporter of the CAB project. The two Vice-Presidents will be tasked with developing revenue streams and enhancing the Club’s regional visibility, as well as overseeing the rugby development pathway from grassroots to elite level.
Mr. Simon Gillham, shareholder and executive, will continue in his role as Vice-President in charge of national and international partnerships and institutional communications.
Commenting on these developments, Thierry Blandinières stated : “I am delighted to further strengthen CA Brive’s roots in its city, department, and region. Dominique Antoni knows the Club inside out, having started as an intern 20 years ago. He is the guarantor of CAB’s sound financial management.
He is supported by two entrepreneurs who have achieved outstanding success with their companies, share a passion for the Club, and have known it for many years. They will dedicate their time and expertise generously.
Simon, who also works in the United Kingdom, will continue to enhance our visibility with national and international institutions and ensure strong relationships with our main shareholders.
Ed has spent two years as Chief Executive Officer and has brought professionalism at every level. I would like to thank him.”
